You'll be amazed at how spacious 400 square feet feels when you stay at the Prickly Pear tiny vacation home! This is the most private model style at Escalante Escapes and, like all of our models, boasts incredible views. The Bunk Escapes were built into the hillside just below our Lofty Escapes' models and feature two bedrooms.

The master bedroom features a queen bed, a flat screen Smart TV, a small desktop workspace that's convenient for working on a laptop or getting ready for the day, a place to hang clothes, additional storage space under the bed for luggage, and a thermostat for individual climate control.

The second bedroom is a small room with a built in bunk bed, storage under the bed, separate heating, and individual lights for each bed.

The bathroom includes a large glass shower with rain shower head, sink, toilet, hair dryer, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap. 

The kitchen and living room feature an open floor plan with a sliding glass door that opens to the deck, where you can sit and take in the incredible views. The living room has a queen-sized sofa sleeper, two lounging chairs, a hand-crafted coffee table with extra bedding storage, and large Smart TV. The kitchen is well stocked with kitchen essentials, beautiful stainless steel appliances, a convection microwave oven for cooking and baking, a stovetop, a large refrigerator, a Keurig coffee machine, granite countertops, farmhouse sink, dishwasher and a table/prep island with seating for four.

Deck and exterior features include a propane BBQ grill, four large Adirondack lounge chairs, private fire pit, astounding views and breathtaking star gazing.

Each unit also has a small washer/dryer.

- **Anonymous**: "Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette tiny house. Elle est très mignonne, impeccable et parfaitement entretenue. Bien sûr, c’est une tiny house, donc l’espace est réduit, mais tout est très bien pensé et il y a tout le nécessaire pour être à l’aise.

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’extérieur, avec une jolie vue, une petite terrasse et un espace agréable pour se détendre après une journée de randonnée.

Escalante est une toute petite ville. Le dimanche, plusieurs commerces sont fermés, donc mieux vaut prévoir un minimum de provisions. Cela dit, on trouve l’essentiel sur place avec un Family Dollar, un petit grocery store et quelques restaurants.

C’est un excellent point de départ pour explorer la région. Un conseil : préparez bien votre programme à l’avance, surtout si vous souhaitez accéder à certains départs de randonnée. Beaucoup nécessitent un véhicule 4x4 ou la location d’une Jeep.
